The Perception of Green
To say that I am currently obsessed with green home furnishings is an understatement. Today, I visited Cate Baird in her Mixed Greens store at THE OC MART Mix in Costa Mesa, CA.
I was happy to learn about her take on peoples’ different perceptions of Green. Is it just organic? Is it repurposed? Or is it up cycled? Well at Mixed Greens it can be all of the above.
Cate has blended vintage with modern in a way that I’ve never seen. It was nice to see that balance in green design. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Check out her store, you will be glad you did. I can’t wait to have these carved shelves in my living room.
